After your listing is live, you can request edits through the Fortify seller portal. Your broker reviews each request and pushes the update to the MLS — typically within a few business hours. The number of edits available to you depends on your plan.

Essentials

3 edits after your listing goes live. Each change request — regardless of how many changes it contains — counts as one edit.

Pro & Elite

Unlimited edits for the life of your listing. Make changes as often as you need without worrying about a cap.

What counts as an edit

On the Essentials plan, each change request you submit counts as one edit toward your three-edit limit — no matter how many individual changes that request includes. For example, updating your asking price, revising two paragraphs of your description, and reordering your photos all in a single request counts as one edit, not three. Common changes that count as edits include:
  • Adjusting your listing price
  • Updating the property description
  • Adding, removing, or reordering photos
  • Correcting square footage, bedroom count, or other property details
  • Modifying open house dates or showing instructions
If you are on Essentials, batch all your changes into a single edit request to avoid using multiple edits.

How to submit an edit

1

Log in to the Fortify seller portal

Visit fortifylistings.com and sign in with your account credentials.
2

Click 'Request edit' on your listing

From your dashboard, locate your active listing and select the Request edit button.
3

Describe your changes clearly

Specify exactly what you want updated — include the new price, the revised description text, or the updated photo order. The more detail you provide, the faster your broker can process the request.
4

Wait for your broker to process the update

Your broker reviews the request and pushes the change to the MLS. Most edits go live within a few business hours on the same business day.

Price changes

Price reductions and increases take effect on the MLS as soon as your broker processes the edit. From there, the updated price syndicates automatically to Zillow, Realtor.com, Redfin, and other major listing portals. Allow 24–48 hours for the new price to appear consistently across all syndicated sites — each platform pulls MLS data on its own refresh schedule.
