Starting your Fortify listing requires nothing more than your property address. No account to create, no forms to fill out, no plan to choose — not yet. Fortify pulls public property data, builds a draft MLS listing, and has a licensed broker review it before you see it. You receive a complete listing preview, typically the same day, and only decide whether to move forward after you’ve seen exactly what you’re getting.

How it works

1

Go to app.fortifylistings.com/start

Open app.fortifylistings.com/start in your browser. You won’t be asked to create an account or enter payment information — there’s nothing to sign up for at this stage.
2

Enter your property address

Type in your property address. That’s the only thing you provide to get started. No asking price, no contact details, no plan selection — just the address.
3

Fortify prepares your draft listing

Fortify pulls public property records for your address and builds a complete MLS-formatted draft listing — the same structure and fields buyer agents and buyers see on Zillow, Realtor.com, and Redfin. This happens automatically and requires nothing further from you.
4

A licensed broker reviews it

Before your preview reaches you, a licensed broker reviews the draft for accuracy and MLS compliance. You’re not seeing a raw data dump — you’re seeing a professionally reviewed listing draft.
5

You receive your free listing preview

Your broker-reviewed preview is delivered to you, typically the same day you enter your address. Review it at your own pace. There’s no obligation to proceed.

What’s in your listing preview

Your preview is formatted exactly as your listing would appear in the MLS and on major real estate sites. It includes:
  • MLS listing copy — the property description and headline buyers and agents will read
  • All standard MLS data fields — bedrooms, bathrooms, square footage, year built, lot size, and every field that appears on an active listing
  • Buyer- and agent-facing view — the same presentation a buyer agent sees when pulling your property in the MLS
  • Syndication preview — how the listing will appear on Zillow, Realtor.com, Redfin, and Homes.com once it’s live
The preview is built from public property records, so details like square footage or bedroom count may occasionally differ from what you know to be accurate. You’ll have the opportunity to correct anything once you’re in the platform — nothing goes to the MLS until you’ve approved the final version.

What happens next

After you’ve reviewed your preview, the next step is choosing a plan and signing your listing agreement — only if you’re ready to move forward. If the preview doesn’t look right, or if you simply aren’t ready to list yet, you’re not obligated to do anything. When you do decide to proceed:
  1. Choose your plan — Essentials (995),Pro(995), Pro (2,495), or Elite (from 3,995)all3,995) — all 0 today and due only at closing if your home sells.
  2. Sign your listing agreement digitally — a straightforward document you can read in full before you ever enter your address.
  3. Complete your listing details inside the platform — price, photos, disclosures, and showing preferences, in a guided flow most sellers finish in under 15 minutes.
The listing agreement Fortify uses is available publicly at fortifylistings.com before you start. You can review every term before entering your address — no fine print revealed at checkout.
